How to Show $ symbol on your Windows Phone

Recently one of my friends tweeted regarding missing “$” symbol on his Lumia Phone.

This post is a simple response to the tweet on hwo you can get back the “$” symbol on your Lumia phone. To achieve this, follow the below steps –

• Slide right on your home screen to go the App list
  
• Tap on “Settings” menu
  
• Tap “language+region”
  
• Check the “Regional format” set for your phone. For Indian users, by default this is set to India.
  
• Tap it and change to United States(English).
  
• Restart your phone.
• You’re done.
