Shortcut Commands in Windows 8

Windows 8 is here and we’re loving it. This post details few shortcut commands that we can use in Windows 8 –

•  + Type – Search your PC
•  + C – Open charms
•  + F – Open Search charm
•  + H – Open Share charm
• + I – Open Settings charm
•  + K – Open Devices charm
•  + O – Lock the screen orientation (portrait or landscape)
•  + Z – Open commands for the app
•  + Page Up – Move the Start screen and apps to the monitor on the right (apps in the desktop won’t change monitors)
• + Page Down – Move the Start screen and apps to the monitor on the left (apps in the desktop won’t change monitors)
• + Shift+Period (.) – Snap an app to the left
•  + Period (.) – Snap an app to the right
