Developer Day Experience – I am a Speaker now!
Dear Friends,
This day 1st June 2013 marks a new beginning in my life. I officially became a Speaker. I spoke today at the Developer day organized by C# Corner Kolkata Chapter and in short to say, it was an awesome event and I had a great time with the attendees at the Developer Day today. I hope everyone learnt a lot from today’s event and the sessions!!
I discussed on developing Windows 8 Apps using HTML and JavaScript in this event. The agenda was –

- Understanding Windows Store Apps
- Why should you write Windows Store Apps
- Default Project templates provided for Windows Store apps using HTML & JS
- Basics of Windows Store Apps using HTML & JS
- WinJS & Promises
- Build an app
- Use of AppBar/Flyout controls
